Audi is gearing up for the imminent launch of its latest vehicle, the Q6 E-Tron, which will come in two distinct body styles. Recent spy shots have captured the Sportback version being tested in a public setting.
These photos depict the crossover shrouded in heavy camouflage, effectively concealing its design details. Nevertheless, one can observe the Sportback variant revealing its full-width taillight element without any coverings, and the daytime running lights were also exposed. If the Sportback closely resembles the standard Q6, it is likely to feature a broad, closed-off grille flanked by headlights positioned low on its front fascia.
The most notable contrast between the two Q6 variations lies in their roof designs. The Sportback model is expected to prioritize a more stylish profile at the expense of rear-passenger headroom and cargo space. The spy shots even captured a small lip spoiler beneath the rear hatch glass.
In a teaser released in September, Audi provided a glimpse of the Q6 E-Tron's interior, showcasing a cabin equipped with a dual-screen setup on the dashboard. Although the new Q6 E-Tron Sportback images do not reveal this prominent display, it's worth noting that earlier spy shots of the regular Q6 also lacked the dual-screen configuration.
